Stacey Broadstreet
The founder and owner, is also the main choreographer at Dance with Stacey.
Ms. Stacey is a certified dance teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience.
Ms. Stacey currently operates Dance with Stacey , located in Smyrna, Tn.
Ms. Stacey has 40+ years of dance study and training. Her past experience includes:
- 18 years of training from Cathy’s Dance Studio in Nashville, TN.
- Numerous Competition Award Highlights including Top Scoring Audition Recipient from Cathy Turner for 3 years.
Star Power National Solo Overall Top Score 1988, Showstopper National Solo “Greatest Potential” Award 1987,
Multiple Group Overall High Score spanning 1984-1989 with The Cadillac Dance Company at Cathy’s Dance Studio. - Founder and owner of Dance with Stacey on Nolensville Rd. 12 years and NOW Smyrna, Tn for 18 years.
- Choreographer and Director of the MTSU Dance Team (8 years)
- Dance Teacher at the Franklin Family YMCA (5 Years)
- Choreographer for several Middle Tn High School Dance Teams (1988-1996)
- Dance Team Director of the Nashville Knights Dance Team (one season)
- Founder “Stacey’s Creative Movements” 1988-1992. A Preschool program at 10+ daycares and mother day out programs.
Mark Broadstreet
Mr. Mark aka “Mr. Stacey,” is originally from Michigan, but now resides in Murfreesboro, Tn.
Mr. Mark and Ms. Stacey got married 16 years ago , which is when he inherited the title Co-owner of Dance with Stacey.
Our two children keep us plenty busy outside the dance studio.
Mr. Mark spent 20+ years in the catering business degree in Restaurant Management, which is extremely useful in teaching
Culinary Arts to our Afterschool students and Summer Campers. You will always find Mr. Mark in the studio office making all
the studio moms laugh with his contagious sense of humor.
Ms Stacey says owning a dance studio was not a life goal of Mr. Mark’s, but I know for sure it was God’s plan. So many our students
refer to him as their 2nd Dad. What a compliment!!! I am grateful for Mr. Mark’s leadership and support as we run
this crazy business together. Thanks for being by my side at the studio everyday. I could not do it without you.
